$22 for a rack of ribs? $15 for half a chicken? $13 for a veggie platter? In Hatfield?
Isn't the whole idea of a BBQ place to be everyman's hangout, with good, REASONABLY priced food.
They are food people, they should know better than to make a rib place where only monied people can eat. Take a little longer to pay off your renovations, and have a place where anyone can afford to take their family for fun food. $100 for a weeknight family dinner is ridiculous.
Went last night, never again.

That's too bad. i really like this place but their prices seem to have really increased. Is the quality still high? Last i went (about 2 years ago) it was the best BBQ that i'd had in New England.

When my husband and I went recently it was uneven. We enjoyed the ribs and chicken wings, especially with an extra-hot sauce they had. However, they made us pay extra for the sauce which I thought was silly and cheap. Some sides were very good, particularly the white beans. The pulled pork was terrible though. Soggy, spongy, glop. Good beer selection. Overall, we liked the funky atmosphere, but not enough to return any time soon.

Well, they're not in business as a public service. If the prices are too high, you absolutely should not go back. And if their business suffers because enough people feel as you do, they'll learn their lesson. But if the food is good enough, or the competition scarce enough, that people will pay these prices, than so be it. They'll do fine, and you'll have to eat elsewhere. I don't mean to be harsh, but that's just the reality of the situation.

The food ISN'T good enough and every little thing is a charge. It seems that others feel the same way. It was a great idea that got too cocky for itself. The reality of the situation is that they'll do fine, but plenty of people will feel ripped off.
