Dont send me to Mortons(ack) or Harris, please...I like Palace Steakhouse but have been recently. I am looking for a new meat experience. Can someone help me?
Izzy's in the Marina. Not the best steak in the world, but very good, no razzle-dazzle, old SF & neighborhood feel. They don't charge for parsley!
Alfred's Steakhouse on Commercial Street, a small alley alongside the Chinatown Holiday Inn off Kearny Street, is my favorite. It moved some years ago from Broadway, but it's been in business since 1928, and it's great. Don't forget to try the pickled pig's feet as an appetizer!
