Greek in Rhode Island

Any suggestions on a good greek restaurant in RI, the closer to Providence the better. My wife and I moved back to Rhode Island from Boston. We used to head over to the Aegean Restaurant in Watertown a fair bit, especially come winter. As the weather gets cooler I am starting to craze some Moussaka and Pastitsio. We've been to OPA on the Hill and that doesn't quite fit the bill. One because other than the tasting menu, it wasn't the type of food we are looking for and two because the service was atrocious.

        1. I can't recommend it because I haven't tried it, but there's a place called "Estia" that advertises "Greek food" on its sign on the northeast corner of Rt. 108 and Main St./Tower Hill Rd. in Wakefield, RI. Same parking lot as Bank of America. Coming down Rt. 4/Rt. 1 from Providence, take the Wakefield exit and turn right. Go a few blocks and it's on your right, just past Staples.

If this doesn't work out, Pick Pockets (also Tower Hill Rd., but right when you exit Rt. 1) has a very tasty spinach and feta pie amid pretty uneven pan-Mediterranean fare (oddly great soups, though).
