I am thinking about taking friends from out of town to Albona. I had a wonderful dinner there about 9 months ago but I was wondering if anyone who has been there recently could tell me if it is still good.
Haven't been there in a couple of years, but as far as I know, the owner is always back there cooking, and I've never known it to go downhill in all the time it's been open. What a great and unique place!
I went about a month ago and found it wonderful. Veal was tender and fell off of the bone (no knife necessary), service was attentive and extremely helpful (owner Bruno(?) was charming & down-to-earth). I'd definitely recommend a return visit.
