Is that the chain where you go in and cook with them for a few hours, then box up a week's worth of dinners and take them home?

Yes, it is a meal assembly franchise. You go in and two hours later come out with 12 dinners to serve 4-6 people. I like the concept but don't know about the quality of the food. Anyone?

I've been a customer at Milford, MA, Dream Dinners since April 2005 (There's also one in Framingham, MA). It's awesome! It really is restaurant quality food products. My husband and I love almost every meal. Maybe 2-3 we wouldn't bother making again. I can't say enough about the time saving, stress relief, waste reduction, and cost efficiency. I tell everyone I know to go.

I just found out about this concept, and was wondering about the quality myself. After perusing the November (2005) menu, I left HQ a message regarding whether or not their salmon is wild-caught, their turkeys free-range, and their beef hormone-free. As soon as I hear back, I'll let you know.
I like the idea, but am more interested in the convenience than any savings. If this doesn't "pan-out", would anyone know of a similar organization with better ingredients?
