San Jose Area Eats - Last Minute Request

  • l

I'm going to spend an unexpected week in the San Jose area and have combed the boards and current guides to weed out some good chow suggestions. (My friend in San Jose knows a few places--but she's not a dedicated Chowhound! She DOES have a car, however.)

There were some pretty amusing sites I discovered, randomly, on the web (Best and Worst Dives)--but I'd rather hear from those who place food in its proper and most-elevated perspective--and that can only be another Chowhound soul.

Thanks for any ideas. I'll be checking the boards until Friday afternoon around 5 pm.
