Does anyone know the restaurant, in Oakland (I think), that has like 15 types of hash for breakfast?

I've never heard of a place with that many types of hash, but you might be thinking of Rick & Ann's. It has two hashes on the regular breakfast menu -- one is a fabulous red flannel hash, the other is based on yukon golds. There is sometimes (maybe even usually) another on the specials list.

Divine potato-cheese pancakes as well (heart attack time).

It's one of my favorite places, but expect a long wait (there's a Peet's next door for your coffee fix).
