Depot Square Steakhouse - Derry, NH

Scott Dec 2, 2004 11:38 AM

I will be going to the Depot Square Steakhouse in Derry, NH this weekend for the first time. Some friends who live in the area picked it. Has anyone been? Do they do anything well or is there anything to avoid?

We had dinner there last winter and found the food to be ok. HUGE portions-good service- but a bit bland. The interior is nice- very comfortable- but loud.

There are not alot of options in that area- unless you head to Manchester- and even then some disappoint.

I think they offer excellent value. The steaks are very good, the vegetables are fresh and al dente, the sauces such as the bleu cheese butter are very good. This is American food, not ethnic or highly seasoned, but they use very fresh ingredients. It is very noisy however.

Ate there once. Food was OK, but nothing special.
