Would love to here recent dining experiences at both places. We will be down next week for one night and i am taking someone out for a really nice dinner. Price is not a worry and i am guessing that these are both in the same price range, anyway. Any thoughts?

Hugo's and Bandol are very, very different dining experiences, with Hugo's being upscale contemporary cuisine, and Bandol being an authentic, high end French dining experience. In short, there is something for everyone on the menu at Hugo's, but if there is a member of your dining party who won't be eager to choose between a first course offering of something that includes poached quail eggs OR escargot, then Bandol is NOT the place to go...

Bandol is outstanding for what they do, but the challange of their menu is sure to knock the winds of enthusiasm out of the sails for many...
