Some notes on San Francisco restaurants

Gary Danko: not only the food but the welcome as good as the hype.
La Folie: Great food, wonderful wines but the tab's outrageous.
Boulevard: OK .
Ton Kiang: nice, but not for me as good as other chowhounds found it.
Tadish: much better than Zagat et al say. We've never been disappointed here by the fish, wine, service or tab.

  1. tadish-the one in the financial district? if this is the one i'm thinking of, service was poor the night i was there last fall, and the "fresh" fish nearly killed me-got real sick....
