Only a few months old. Can anyone provide a personal review? As I understand it, sort of upscale New American comfort food. Chef is from Chez Panisse and someplace decent in NYC.

Regardless, I'll be there on Tuesday night and will report back.

So? What did you think? I too am wondering. We stopped in for dessert one night after a yucko meal at Central Steakhouse but walked out because it really seemed so nightclub-ish when I peeked in. Sort of a cross between the Clockwork Orange and Friends. I was really looking forward to trying their chocolate fondue. Found their menu online at a New Haven site (can't remember). What did you think?

Sorry, I should have responded to this. Details are now a little fuzzy, but I wasn't overly impressed. Here's what I remember:

-- Chopped salad wasn't very fresh
-- Meatloaf was OK but too greasy and crumbly for my taste
-- Lollipop lamb chops were small but tasty
-- Desserts (all the ones I tried) were subpar
-- I sort of liked the atmosphere (I'd say Clockwork Orange meets Mork and Mindy), and could see it being a decent weekend scene
-- Staff was reasonably nice
-- Place was empty on a Thursday (?) night
-- Tab came out to >$100 for two (with drinks)

I may have just ordered poorly, but if so, my dinnermate did as well. As did the friends we ran into while we were there. No one was thrilled. It's not terrible, mind you, and it seems like there's potential for improvement, but I'd give them a while to see if they hit some sort of stride. Sorry not to be more specific.
