My family will be camping at Burlingame State Park near the shore in rhode island. Any ideas for good roadside/beachside seafood, ice cream, diners etc. in the area?

Nothing to recommend right near Burlingame along those lines. However, if you were willing to drive just a little, there are several good seafood choices.

In Jerusalem, there is a small seafood place right on the water. I think it's called Skip Jacks, but Jerusalem is tiny and the place is easy to find-- just drive toward the water where you can see Galilee on the other side and look for a restaurant.

Or, drive to Galilee and try Georges of Galilee or Champlans. Both have great traditional RI shore dining seafood, and both have nice views of the water.

Finally, in the Galilee area (not sure if it's technically in Galilee) on the other side of Sand Hill Cove (Captain Wheeler) Beach, try Aunt Carries. Anther RI seafood institution.

Enjoy your camping trip!
