Island time and the UNI is being harvested...

The Japanese,(bless them for establishing this product for one that has commercial value!) have taken over the UNI industry in Downeast Maine. At least by my information this is true. Those wonderous little wooden boxes stuffed full of brilliant Maine UNI is now being harvested off the coast of Maine. Imagine that, UNI from Maine being sent to Japan!

Wonderous stuff.. not at all in flavor like the kind from California that attempts to grace my hand-rolls.
This product smells like the ocean, and tastes like a dream.
Creamy but textured.. Hard to explain.
