Korean Food

My Friends' sister opened a Korean Restaurant in Brighton Center, Seoul Garden 351 Washington St. and the mother and father do the cooking. I know the mother has cooked professionally for many years, so... my husband and I went to try it out and the kalbi beef and the bulgogi beef was so good that it melted in your mouth! The appetizer pancake had baby shrimp, scallions and scallops and was incredible. The price is really reasonable and my husband, who criticizes everything and is very hard to please, was raving about it and said he never tasted anything so good. Just to let you know.

    1. I assume you didn't mean to say that it had recently opened. Seoul Garden has been there for years.

        I've been to Seoul Kitchen on that spot. Did it change names? Ownership? Or something?

      2. It's in the same location as the last Korean restaurant, a bit smaller. The food is real good, and prices are resonable. The ingredents are fresh, and it helps to have Korean chefs.

        1. I just got back from lunch here a little while ago. I am not at all familiar with Korean food, but god damn...the BBQ ribeye (I forget the Korean name) lunch special was AWESOME. Only 9 bucks for about 8-10 oz of excellent meat - quite possibly the best steak I've had all year. Kimchee, veg salad, soup, rice - everything was very tasty and quite cheap. I'll be going back for sure, and soon.
