Satisfying kebabs: kubideh (ground beef), lamb and chenjeh (chicken) -- meaty, nice seasoning, could be a touch more moist, but that's a quibble.

Seer torshi (pickled garlic) had the expected heavy flavour, but should be softer, according to my Persian friend. Mast-o Mooseer, (yogurt with shallots) was very pleasant. On the whole, met with my Persian friend's approval.

They're planning to make fesenjoon as a special next weekend; I'd call to check if that's indeed happening.

I was hoping to try Kolbeh of Kebob this past week but I never made it to the area...this coming week for sure. I like my torshi not that soft, and I hope they have it in carrots, and cauliflower too. Will try the fesenjoon if it's available next week, which is a stew of pomegranates, walnuts, onions, and chicken seitan over steamed basmati white rice with saffron.

Tah-dig's not on the menu, but you can ask for it; did that the last time. It's fine, but you'll have to slect the pieces that are just the right shade of brown.
