soon du bu jigae (sp)?
I'm in Boston for the week and feeling a little under the weather. Are there any Korean places that excel at this spicy seafood-tofu soup? Thank you in advance.

No, there are no good soon doo boo shops =/
You can try the standards; Koreana is one of the better ones, Hometown, as well. Or you can go to reliable and get the ingrediants for a soon du bu chigae yourself... =/

Not in Boston, but if you're in the mood for a drive, the Garden House in Lawrence has several versions of Tchigae (their spelling) on their menu, including Sangsun, Kimchi, and then one that says Soft Tofu and is described as Seafood and Vegetables cooked with soft tofu.
I haven't had this, but I've had lots of other items, including their seafood chongol (cooked at the table), all kinds of noodle soups (Jambong, Ulmyun) and I've never had anything that wasn't really good. All the fish and seafood is fresh and never overcooked. I'm Japanese, not Korean, so no expert, but I love the food and people there. My local Korean friends recommended the place to me when I mentioned that I liked the glitzier Korean bbq place, also in Lawrence. They said that all the Koreans go to Garden House instead.
About a 30-40 min drive up I-93, then North on I-495, 4th exit, I think - 2nd interchange, Rt 114 north, about 1 mile on right. (978) 691-5448
