New Persian place (opened about 6 weeks ago). Good Zereshk Polo and they have decent tah dig. Might be comparable to Molana in quality if what I had was representative. More details later. 1500 Cambridge Street, ~3 blocks west of Punjabi Dhaba.

Yes -- the thick, cushiony pita is made on the premises. Good stuff.

Details as promised: zereshk pollo -- very moist and tender chicken (menu says it was baked), nice combination with the very fruitty currants that add their colour, and mildly tart sweetness to saffron rice. Comes with grilled tomatoes. Ask for a pat or two of butter to enrich your rice, and some raw onion for a sharp bite. The rice is light, fluffy, individualized grains that's delicious (could be soaked for a bit longer but that's a quibble). Half a notch behind the one at Pita Kabob.

Lovely hummus.

Doogh's quite nice, the minty flavour a bit lighter than some o fthe others I've had, gently fizzy, pleasant yogurt flavour.

Tah dig's not bad, worth asking for (not on menu, may not always have it) but not out of this world, got to look for the pieces that aren't too charred.

I'd also ask about specials; seems like they may do other dishes like fesenjoon on weekends.

Recently moved from LA and tried all Persian restaurant in Massatusetts.Laleh Rokh was beautiful but i think they cater to American taste rather than Persian flavor. then pita kabob was good but nothing to WOW me. then it was Molana with nothing good to report.service AWFul, i had soltani and it was quite disapointing.Last night 6 of us went to Kolbeh of Kabob we all ordered diferent food and appetizers:-) all i can say is WOW delicious! Kashk bademjan was perfect soltani(combo1) was fresh and very good service was great and pita bread is made fresh and awsome. Cant wait to go back and try it again.
