Walpole area

Looking for a nice restaurant in the Walpole area south(route 1). Choice of surf and turf menu. Not looking for Chinese food or sushi at this time.

204 Washington in East Walpole is ok, though I had a lousy meal there a few weeks ago.

Luciano's is indeed terrific. Definitely worth going to.

Morin's in Attleboro is pretty good, too, but I'd choose Luciano's over it.

Any updates on this list? I now find myself in Walpole weekly and am not familiar with the area. Looking for options. Enjoyed British Beer Company, didn't much like Jalapenos. Anyone heard of Guidos on 1A? Thanks!

I know someone recently ragged on it, but I thought Red Wing Diner on Rt. 1 was good in a very no frills kind of way.

One Bistro in the 4-Points Sheraton in Norwood on Route 1 has surprisingly good food for a hotel restaurant.

I'd second or third Bon Caldo. Interesting wine list.

Coriander Bistro in Sharon center. Great food, wonderful fish dishes.

Siam Lotus - Thai, don't know if this is what you want, since Chinese and sushi were out, but it's very good.

I'm not that crazy about Sky. I had a very mediocre meal there and an inedible dessert. Waitstaff was not too good.

Had a very good meal at Bon Caldo on Rt 1 in Norwood recently. Also, Cucina Italiana (?) in Walpole Center on Rt 1A is nice.

Definitely Luciano's in Wrentham. They are one of my favorite Italian restaurants, with great veal, chicken, and seafood dishes.

Bistro 712, Sky, Bistro one, Luciano's, not the wasteland it once was.

For Surf and Turf go to Vintage. Just don't order dessert.
