  1. Tried out Vintage tonight and I have to say it was great. Fireplace was blazing next to the bar. Clam chowder was great, calamari even better. We saw a couple of great looking steaks being served to other patrons. I was quite impressed. You would never know it was the old "Fontaines". I am looking forward to going back which is more than I can say for a couple of places I've been to lately.

    1. My mother-in-law loves Vintage, it is very pretty inside So long as you don't order anything complicated, it is good. I think steaks or something similar is a great suggestion.

      1. The butternut squash ravioli was wonderful.

        Dessert was nothing special though.

        1. Do they offer dinner service at the bar for a solo diner? Is the bar comfortable enough to dine alone?

Dining at the Vintage Bar is very comfortable for a solo diner.
The bar stools are comfortable; the lighting is nice and relaxed. Waitstaff is very friendly and accomodating. There are also plasma tv's above. I would definitely recommend eating at the bar alone. And yes, they offer dinner service

Are we talking about the new Vintage Lounge on Broad Street?

          2. Nope= Vintage on VFW Parkway in West Roxbury, formerly Fontaine's.
