I recall one of their sandwiches with a nice steak with a blue cheese topping on a very crusty baguette bread. Then, one day they abruptly stopped doing lunches. It's the same food as their Sunday brunch, but it seems like fewer people know about it, because I never have to wait for a table. Plus, on Saturdays you can drink before noon, which you can't do on a Sunday, and their bloody marys (maries?) make it seem, if not less a sin, at least worth the damnation. Good oatmeal too, and usually an interesting pancake choice or two.
