Has anyone tried this new addition the Sound Bites family? I was driving down Broadway today and noticed it opened up across the street from the regular joint, but didn't get the chance to check out the menu or anything.

I tried it a couple of weeks ago. It's very good for what it is (inexpensive Middle Eastern food in a sub shop environment). I thought the baba ghanouj, the falafel and houmous were all excellent, the grape leaves just ok.

Cafe Barada, which is minutes away on Mass. Ave. in Cambridge is more comfortable and has generally better food, but it's tough to beat the price and convenience of Sound Bites BBQ and Grille. I'm going to head back there soon to try some of the other dishes.

My boyfriend recently ordered wings from there...three different varieties and he was disappointed with all of them. He prefers his wings more "saucy." Mind you, that didn't stop him from eating them, either!

I've heard that the wings are not the thing to get there. They seem to be specializing more in the Middle Eastern cuisine there...
