B&G Oysters on Tremont St. in the South End is a fab all seafood restaurant with oysters to die for. They also have a delicious lobster roll and lobster BLT. I actually ate there last night and had the sole which was delicious. Their wine list has some very affordable bottles. They currently have a $33 verdejo which I really like.

At the opposite end of the spectrum from the very chic and pricey B&G, there's Morse Fish Co, a bare-bones fish market and counter-service fried-and-broiled seafood joint. Styro food containers, plastic cutlery, flourescent lighting, formica tables, very fresh fish and shellfish, very cheap.

There's also lots of good seafood to be had at restaurants that aren't explicitly about seafood, notably Perdix and the Nightingale, which tilt heavily oceanward with their New American menus. They're upscale but casual. The similarly upmarket Caffe Umbra (Mediterranean) and Union Bar and Grill (New American) always features nice seafood dishes as well.

The Franklin Cafe is a great bar with very fine, modestly priced food. They always have great mussels and at least one seafood dish on their menu. Brilliant neighborhood hangout.

Just be a little wary going to and from the hotel. The adjacent blocks, especially Harrison near Mass Ave, are hotbeds of drug activity, not safe to walk through at night. You're looking at some very cheap cab rides to get to and from those restaurants.
