<content>Wow - what an awkward website - having to click-scroll through the menu in that tiny little window. (Why do website designers still think this is a good thing?)

Looking forward to that blackENDED salmon, too. :-/</content>

<content>Ooh, I missed the pancHetta. And I actually LIKE the menu - ohter tahn four thuh messpillings. :-)

I Emailed the info@ address and got bounced, so I Emailed the PR person, and got a "thank you." And I noticed the "blackENDED" salmon has been fixed. :-) They still need to bag the animation and teeny-tiny window, however.</content>

<content>Well, the Lyons Bros own it now, so you know they'll at least make money slinging drinks there.

The Blue Cat was just miserable: bad food, horrible cocktails, disgusting wines by the glass, bad DJs. Amazing it lasted as long as it did. Been in my Dead Pool for years. I guess one can't underestimate the power of cute bartenders, or the fact that singles-bar patrons will suffer the worst food and drinks if they think the pickup action is good.

The Newbury Steak House was a good dive for many years in that spot, though I don't know anyone who actually ate the food there.

Mini-burgers actually seems like a pretty good restaurant concept to me.</content>

<content>"Mini-burgers actually seems like a pretty good restaurant concept to me."

Hmm, maybe. But, it is a bit silly that they are "match"-ing martinis, a pre-dinner drink, with burgers, which go best with beer or wine.

I know, I know, I'm over-analyzing. But still.</content>

<content>Agreed. Pure-booze drinks should be matched only with garnishes: olives, pickled onions, maybe a raw oyster. I wouldn't want to wash down a mini-burger with a Martini.</content>

<content>I don't know: a nice white sparkler might be just the thing to go with a lobster burger there.

However, I do not want to be the guy requesting a spicy Zin to go with my beef burger at R.F. O'Sullivan's or Tim's Tavern.</content>

      <content>RE: White Castle
Yeah of course... SLIDERS!

The bar at Jury's Hotel (Cuffs) also serves mini-burgers.

Also, I saw 3 or 4 mini-burgers on a skewer at Champions in the Copley Marriot.

Seems like a retro-resurgence is going on.</content>
