I love this time of year when the rain starts and the Jubel Ale is flowing. IMO the best way to drink this beer (or any other beer) is hand pumped from the cask. After doing some research it turns out I can only find this in two places right now, Higgins and Rose and Raindrop. I was surprised that the Horse Brass didn't have it. Does anyone know of any other places that have it? How about cask conditioned Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale?

I could have sworn that the Horse Brass had a keg of cask conditioned Jubel that they tapped on Tuesday. This time of year the Brass is your best bet for casked seasonal ales and they sell/rotate quickly.

Don't know about Sierra Celebration in the cask... If anyone had it, it would be the Brass.

Hit County Cork yesterday after the Hair of The Dog Dock Sale. They had Jubel on a regular tap, but Lagunita's Brown Shugga on the cask. Pretty yummy with a Scotch Egg...

Would love to find the Jubel on cask, so will stay tuned...

You should try the Full Sail Wassail. It won the platinum medal (top award) at the world beer championship. The recipe for Wassail was created by John Harris who also created Jubel, Black Butte Porter, and Mirror Pond while he was the brewer at Deschutes. The quality of Deschutes brews have gone down hill in recent years imo.

Sometimes the Pilsner Room has Wassail on Cask. Wreck the Halls from Full Sail should be hitting the kegs soon.
