IMO the best way to drink this beer (or any other beer) is hand pumped from the cask. After doing some research it turns out I can only find this in two places right now, Higgins and Rose and Raindrop. I was surprised that the Horse Brass didn't have it. Does anyone know of any other places that have it? How about cask conditioned Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale? This time of year the Brass is your best bet for casked seasonal ales and they sell/rotate quickly. Don't know about Sierra Celebration in the cask... If anyone had it, it would be the Brass. They had Jubel on a regular tap, but Lagunita's Brown Shugga on the cask. Pretty yummy with a Scotch Egg... Would love to find the Jubel on cask, so will stay tuned... The recipe for Wassail was created by John Harris who also created Jubel, Black Butte Porter, and Mirror Pond while he was the brewer at Deschutes.
