Looking for a suggestion for a casual place near the Boston Medical Center, Harrison Avenue, for an early dinner. Will be with my 11yo daughter. Is there anything interesting close by?

I'm familiar with Chinatown, and my daughter is pretty good with unfamiliar foods...my mother feeds her the Armenian version of steak tartar, so she does better than me sometimes.
I've read good things about Peach Farm and Taiwan Cafe, so I might play it safe and check either one of these places out.
Price range for the two of us around $50.00...

Much closer than Chinatown is Equator, one block away on Washington Street, a couple of blocks south of the highly regarded Flour Bakery & Cafe.

A short drive away down Mass Ave are Victoria's Diner, a classic American diner with very reasonably priced dinner fare (and free parking), and 224 Boston, a lovely, casual, neighborhood New American restaurant. The Red Fez is a short drive up Washington St toward Chinatown, with creative Middle Eastern/North African and free parking out back (!).
