So far it is Devlin's in Brighton, but would love to mix it up a bit!

I have to second James Gate in JP. bangers are great, B&W puddings both excellent, beans, mushroom and tomato saute, toast. Only problem I have is they only give one rasher of bacon :(
I could order a side I guess.....

Last one I had was at Grafton Street in Harvard Sq., and it was pretty good: there was black *and* white pudding (the white was really tasty), some decent bangers, and they even halved and browned some tomatoes. Lots of mushrooms, too. The bacon was just plain American bacon, but their online menu says that the plate comes with "rasher" bacon now. Is that the proper, ham-ier kind? Anyway, it's $10, and lots of food.

And there's been one somewhere in Davis for a long time...but I don't know where...Joshua Tree?

Aaaww I miss Ireland. Lived in Sligo for about a month and my wee Irish host grandmother would make me a full fry every day. With soda bread and scones made with lard. And then sit there happily while I ate. It was all pretty awesome. Do they have soda bread at Devlins?

a"rasher" is a portion of bacon- I think 2-3 pieces or just a general nice size portion of. When reading British literature I always start salivating at the word "rasher".

I was just in Sligo 3 months ago and our hotel breakfast wasn't so great. I'm not big on the fry up tho and notice lots of complaints on Tripadvisor.com from UK types complaining about Venice breakfasts never having eggs (my next trip). To bring this back to Boston, I think some of those north station joints offer Irish breakfasts. And what about the Blarneystone in Fields Corner?

I've had a good breakfast at the Irish Village in Brighton on Market St. It included the grilled tomatoes and mushrooms which I like.

I've not been, but a place in Quincy calls itself the home of the Irish breakfast:
http://www.mannionsrestaurant.com/manhome.html
Perhaps someone's tried it?

If you want to make it yourself Kiki's Kwik-Mart on Faneuil Street in Brighton sells some breakfast puddings and Irish bacon, etc.
