I can't recall too many specifics so you're just gonna get some general impressions :-) Overall impression was that it was good but kind of high $$ for what you got. I use Gargoyle's (Davis Square) as my $ to quality metric and it was definitely more $ for less quality. I had crab cakes to start which were good but my entree (chicken?) was just ok. Portion sizes were large. Service was good but perhaps bordering on (unknowlingly) intrusive (I think the chef/owner came out 2 times to ask us about our food -- once is charming, twice seems excessive!). I do remember being absolutely delighted by their chocolate dessert -- which is quite unusual for me -- often I'm disappointed by chocolate stuff in restaurants but this thing (a pie or tart maybe?) made me think "I should buy this for my most chocolate loving friends". Anyway...we literally live right around the corner from the place which probably means we should head back...but also sort of might make you wonder why we haven't! I didn't even realize it was there, much less a restaurant. I thought it may be a cofffe, bakery type place. I may have to stop by just to try their chocolate, as I live nearby in Melrose.
