hounds,
Can anyone report on this little Italian spot right in Davis - next to JP Licks? I stopped in there when they first opened at lunch time and took home a decent but not remarkable Chicken Parm sandwich. But last night while walking the dog and eating a JP Licks cone, I noticed the place was really full. Was it just a banner night for Antonia's, or is the food worth the crowd?

I haven't been in about 6 or 8 months so something could have changed but the food was fine, nothing special but certainly the best dining right on the square (with the other option being Mike's, yuck).

We sometimes get sandwiches there on the way to the airport (tuna and eggplant parm are our favorites) but we've mostly been heading to Sessa's lately; the quality of Antonia's sandwiches has declined since they opened.
