Central Square Mediterranean/Arabic Supper Club(-ish?)

Saturday nights at the Greek American Club are Arabic music nights - it's kind of like a supper club. You go upstairs and it opens up to a big room with linen-covered tables, dancefloor, stage in front, bar and kitchen window in back.

Went this past Saturday with a friend for the first time. We ordered a veggie and feta plate (and it was just that, carrots, cukes, olives, feta, romaine leaves, green peppers, nothing special) that came out with pita. The menu contains a lot of kebabs and salads. We had table envy where everyone else's food looked way better - lots of plated piled high with Mediterranean/Middle Eastern salads. Might be worth exploring and it would certainly be fun for a group. There was a $10 cover (live Arabic band/singers and a brief bellydancing show).

Here's info I found online:

Somehow missed this post. Thanks for the info, sounds promising. Might be interesting to check out over the next few months. The Greek community might have a little extra spring in their step with the football championship and the Olympics coming up.
