Make that one more thumbs up for this cute pie place -- thanks to all for the rec. Super cheery counter staff, pretty good fresh squeezed lemonade, and beautiful crusts on the pies, from the slightly denser and flaky crust over big chunks of chicken, carrots and potato (oh if they only added peas!) on the chicken pie to the crumbly and delightfully sandy dark crust on their sharp key lime pie, all cut with just the right amount of butter. Good sour cream coffee cake too.

If you're a scone fan, theirs are wonderful.

My 80 year old father-in-law was also very impressed by the key lime pie that we bought him for Father's Day.

The owner, Renee, is tickled by all the Chowhound attention -- be sure to mention it when you stop by, if she's out front.

I haven't tried the pies yet but they look (and smell) amazing. True that the owner is an absolute delight. And I really, REALLY like that the scones and muffins are an appropriate size - not these huge 800-calorie monstrosities with no flavor.

Renee's steak & mushroom pie is perfect! I've heard it's available Sat & Tues, but you can order (or customize) just about anything in advance. Some Australians were looking for this and so she just went on google.au & now it's a staple. The sweet pies are also delectable, but it's a bit hard to eat two pies in the same day
