The reviews on their site and elsewhere look excellent, and sounds like it is what Legal's used to be (classic New England fish/seafood) plus Italian dishes.

Is it that great?

And should I expect a wait on a weekday night?

Thanks.

I would temper my expectations a little. The food that I had there about a year ago was just okay. The place is reasonably priced and has a congenial atmosphere.

We haven't eaten there for a while (maybe about a year too) but I had just the opposite impression: the food is quite good for a neighborhood place but the prices were too high to make it a regular stop since for the same $15-20 entrees, you can do much better. Nonetheless, this is on our list of places to try again after a long break.

I was there for the first time about a month ago. I had some swordfish which was prepared well, but too fishy tasting (especially for swordfish, which doesn't often have that propblem). May have been an off night, but I'm not in a hurry to go back. In general, I find the menu at East Coast Grill much more interesting and well worth the extra few bucks.

Out of the blue has been a huge favorite of ours, especially for fresh, fried calamari, clams, etc. Quality has been very high, and the prices seem reasonable for what you're getting. This isn't a place for a fancy dinner, but it is my idea of a perfect neighborhood seafood joint. Also, the lunch prices are considerably better for similar serving sizes.
