I bought a bottle a few months ago - still haven't cracked it open, but there are some fresh limes sitting on the counter at home for the caipirihnas......

You can buy cachaça at any of the many liquor stores that line Cambridge St. between Inman Sq. and Lechmere. (That's in East Cambridge, #69 bus from Harvard or Lechmere, or a 20min. walk from Central or Harvard)....Prospect Liquors is the first name that comes to mind, but there are countless other liquor stores on that strip that all sell it, many varieties.

Most larger liquor stores carry it as it has been a popular feature in bars and restaurants for a few years. I know in the South End both New Boston and their sister store on the corner of Tremont and Dartmouth carry it, Bauer Wines on Newbury also has it.
