Usually, people yell at me for eating too much too quickly. So this sound like a place where I wouldn't be barked at for my (fast) bites.

A good bit of stuff on the scone plate. Fairly good scrambled eggs with cheese and dill (nice fresh filaments, it looked like), although I've always preferred wet, soft and barely cooked scrambled eggs from slow stirring over soft heat. (Anyone know who makes a good version of that here? Thanks in advance!)

Decent Canadian bacon slices. Really enjoyed their delicious homefries, virtually a soft potato cake with a very thin, light crispy shell.

An awesome babyfaced scone (and literally that size!) -- warm, moist, of the appropriate density, just ever slightly loose enough that smushing it in a chew gives pleasure. Chock full of walnuts, raisins, and nicely cinnamony (and otherwise well spiced), with a moderate sprinkle of sugar on top. Makes me want to try their muffins next.

BTW, no evidence of any thuggish or otherwise ungentlmanly behavior on the part of the serious looking but otherwise polite owner. A kindly and sweet old man presided over the cash register.
