Not especially inexpensive beer wise. Have you called the Sunset Grill in Allston to see if you can get a reservation? Better beer selection at Crossroads poured in proper pint glasses (one of the few places in Boston that pours EVERY beer in a true pint glass, not just Guinness). Brief anecdote: I was once supposed to meet a girl at T's pub and they were closed for renovations, the owners let me in anyway as they were sitting with friends amidst the drywall rubble on lawn chairs watching the sox game, they invited us in for a few beers, nice guys, I promised them College World Series parking spots in exchange, they even gave me a T's Pub shirt. Though honestly, I'd pick Sunset over all of them. When we leave and often when we stop back in after the show, there always seems to be drunken BU girls singly (badly) to the karaoke and visuals on the big screen. But it's quality entertainment.
