With native corn season rapidly approaching, I was getting really nostalgic for a good local farm stand, like we had in CT when I was a kid. My mom would stop by on the way home from the daily errands and pick up fresh picked from the fields. Is there anyplace like that near the western/southwestern burbs (Newton, Dedham)? I am sooooo sick of supermarket corn, but don't have tons of time to go too far out of town.

Thanks!

Verril Farms in Concord has a great selection of outstanding corn although I think it is still a little early for it. Also, Idlewild Farms in Acton has great produce in general.
