<content>Guess this is technically the South End, just outside of Bay Village. Even though Zara had previously indicated that the pizza front in Bay Village area was less than stellar, I noticed this little storefront joint a week ago and stopped in for a slice of cheese Saturday. Imagine your typical greek-style greasy pizza on that white, slightly undercooked doughy crust, except double the ususual amount of cheese to make a big gloopy mess, and use flavorless (or maybe it was carboard flavored) tomato sauce. Terrible, I didn't finish the whole slice, which might be a first ever. Truth be told there are a lot of other typical greek-style subs, pasta dishes, fried stuff on the menu that I might try in time, but no more pizza there.

It would obviously be worth it to just hop the T and hit Regina's but sometimes delivery is necessitated.

Per DodinBouffant's post, next on the local pizza list is Nicole's, Mistral, then Anchovies.

<content>Sorry about your bad experience, but at least you had a warning. ;) By the way - Bertucci's in Bay Village delivers; while not the best, it beats Rome's and Emilio's. Good luck! Any other finds in the neighborhood? Have you had a chance to try Miami Cafe?

<content>I walked by Flux but the stark interrior and crowd kept me away when I would have dined alone.

My dining at Flash's was not so good, but my drinking was excellent! Similarly I actually tried My Brother's Place next door on Patriot's Day. It was certainly entertaining and not as scary as imagined.

Miami Cafe is next on my list, along with Tim's. The search continues!

thanks,
