        <content>Help!
Going to Bermuda in April. Any recommendations. Don't want the usual tourist traps unless the atmosphere warrants it.</content>

<content>I love The Reefs for dinner. Sat. night is oh so special. To me, Swizzle Inn and Henry the 8th cater to the masses and tourists but alas, that is Bermuda for you..</content>

<content>We loved Henry V111 on South Shore Road. $$$$
We also love the White Horse Tavern at Kings Sq. $$$.
And the Hog Penny is good ... we always ate in the bar.
The food was stick-to-the-ribs kind of stuff. A great break from the high $$ of other places.

Be careful how you dress! We were told they would not seat us at the Elbow Beach "beach" place, forget the name now, but when we told them we paid a cab from across the island to get there, they seated us in a corner. The food was good ($$$$), but we were snubbed because my husband had what they called "running" shoes on! Sheesh.

Have fun!
