Admittedly, I've only eaten there once so don't remember where it is exactly (but I know it's in Newton). They are a deli and they have a wide selection of offerings. The service was good as well. Blue Ribbon is a blast, very small but close by and much better than average barbecue. Not much seating though. There are also some inexpensive pubs in Newton Corner and Nonantum sections like Buff's Pub and the West StreetGrill (or Tavern) respectively. Not great, but cheap. Also, Stellina's in Watertown Square is not far and you could eat at the bar if no table is available. They do the standard Asian cooking with mock meats but in a much more creative and tastey fashion than Buddha's Delight or Grasshopper. If Life & Light were on the subway, I'd be there several times a week.
