Cioppino vs. Frutta Di Mare - Whats the Difference
- 1crispydude Nov 30, 2002 09:38 AM
I say a cioppino is more like the seafood is cooked in a stew-like sauce and then topped onto the pasta and frutta di ma mare has the seafood added to the pasta after the seafood is cooked. Enlighten me.
Please post non-regional topics on our "General Topics" board. That way more people can contribute, more people can benefit, and we can preserve the local focus of this board.
If for some reason it's urgent for you that your fellow Bostonians respond to your query, you can post to General Topics and post a "heads up" message here inviting locals to visit that discussion.
Please repost your query over there (we're sure you'll get great response!). We'd have done it for you, but you chose not to use an email address so we'd have no way to notify you.
For your convenience, you can use link below. But for future reference, you can jump between boards via three mechanisms:
1. go to our homepage, scroll down to the map, and see - in the map and below it - links to every region
2. go to our homepage and click on "hotposts", a very cool feature which lets you see only recent postings. HotPosts also makes it easy to board jump.
3. bookmark boards in your browser.
