  1. Do NOT go to Circolo in Manchester by the C-notes. Mamma Marias in N. End. Tell McGee I sent you. FABULOUS.

Do you think that this place might have just had an off night when you were there?

No. Others have had the same or worse. The local buzz is bad. So bad that they have had to resort to giving away free mimosas ('Mimosa de Circolo' or some gimmicky BS) to get people in the door. I have yet actually to hear anyone rave about it, let alone say anything good. I keep hoping someone will see my persistent posts and try and straighten me out but so far, nothing.

    2. Rabia's on Salem Street in the North End, Boston.

I second the recommendation for Rabia's on Salem Street. I have eaten here several times and the food is great.

      2. I love Assagio's in the North End. The specials are excellent especially the Bass. However, be sure not to go too late on the weekends-the specials sell out. Oh, and their Risotto is always cooked perfectly.
