Clams and Questions

1. Who has the best non-fried clams in Boston? As anyone who has visited New Orleans knows, we fry (ie Southern cook) EVERYTHING including but not limited to breakfast cereals, bread and turkey.
2. I have read through 6 months of postings regarding the North end Italian restaurants and cannot discern a chow-worthy winner. Is it just a shot in the red sauce?
3. Where in Chinatown does one find the best Dim Sum?
4. What about French? I mean the real thing such as Cassoulet, Coq au Vin and Duck Confit.
Thanks in advance.

Probably some people will give you some Chinatown suggestions for black bean sauce. I had a really good polenta w/ grilled clams app. at Kingfish Hall a couple weeks ago.

Most people eat at the non red sauce places it seems. And Prezza is a definite favorite along with Limoncello and a couple others.

    3. Where in Chinatown does one find the best Dim Sum?

I'll leave it to the experts but Chau Chow and China Pearl get the most mention.

    4. What about French? I mean the real thing such as Cassoulet, Coq au Vin and Duck Confit.

I'd say Aquitaine in the South End and Brasserie Jo is okay too.
