Reminder; Rincon Limeno Dinner, Tuesday Nite!

  • g

Don't forget, the chow dinner at Rincon Limeno is tomorrow night at 7:00 PM. The restaurant is at 409 Chelsea Street in East Boston, closest to the Wood Island stop on the Blue Line..So far, we have
Ben C.
CFox and Gingerman
Zeb Cook and Mrs.Zeb

Did I miss anyone? Would anyone else lke to join us?
They didn't think reservations were needed on a Tuesday, so whoever gets there first, ask for a table for 9...You'll be able to find us; the place is about the size of your living room!

  1. See you there!

    1. Sooooo excited. See all y'all then.

      1. I'll see y'all there tomorrow evening...

        1. If someone has a minute today, can you post directions to RL from the T? I've been MapQuesting and it's useless as it doesn't indicate the location of the Wood Island station. I'm sure I'll find it -- just by sniffing out the octopus -- but a general direction would be helpful. Thanks.

We walked from 2 T-stations away last time, but Wood Island opens onto a triangular Square, (Day Sq, maybe?) and RL is on the edge of it...It was not off on any side street....

          2. If there's still room, I'd love to join in -- I wasn't sure if I'd be able to come, but I am. I've been thinking about that ceviche and fried yucca for weeks now!

Something has just come up for me, Michael, and I don't think I'm going to be able to make it tonight after all. How about you slip into the seat I was going to fill?

This pains me deeply as I too have been thinking a lot about that ceviche and having some fairly salacious fantasies about their rendering of octopus, but I don't think I'm going to be able to get there. Actually it pains me double because I've only got 5 weeks left as a Boston chowhound.

If someone's already thinking about a July event, please let take place on an evening other than the
12th so I can bid an appropriate adieu to the chow homies.....

Perhaps the welcome dinner for the incoming hounds can be your farewell dinner as well. That's slated for either the 10th or the 11th. I'm leaning toward the 11th (Thursday) myself, but wish to consult the group that's meeting tonight. Sorry you can't make that -- you'll be missed.

We'll see you there! It WAS your idea, after all!
