Tu Y Yo

Went to Tu Y Yo in Somerville Friday night, and wanted to suggest that people check it out. We had squash blossom quesadillas to start, which were the best quesadillas I've ever had. For entrees, we had Camaron Cuernavaca, shrimp in a garlic sauce with vegetables which was nice. But the better of the 2 entrees was Pollo Yunkaax, chicken stuffed with these unbelievably good "corn's black mushrooms" The mushrooms alone were worth the trip..earthy and delicious. It was topped with a spinach sauce. Delicious! They had a nice Spanish/Mexican wine selection and a few different types of sangria.

The service was very friendly and helpful. They were proud of their food.

The sad part was the place was practically empty, while people were waiting to get into Rudy's up the street for microwaved burritos...
