Hi Folks,

Any opinions on Betty's Wok & Noodle Diner? I've never been but was interested in checking it out with a friend sometime.

It's a mainstreamed version of the more ethnic food we eat all the time. More upscale surroundings, better wine list, higher price. Great if you're in the neighborhood for an event, but not unusual enough to make it a destination. Definitely nice, tasty food. Healthy even. For as crowded as it seems(and the pretentious attitude of the staff), I just wish I could get more excited about it..

truely not exciting, but fine if you have to fuel quickly before an afternoon concert.

I like Betty's, and I work in the area, so I've been there often-Great onion rings, really like the seaweed/cuke salad, and the staff is nice, definitely not pretentious as posted before me-give it a shot, that area is sorely lacking in dining choices.

Very bland stuff, if you ask me, and definitely overpriced. Maybe I'm spoiled by all the Vietnamese places in Dorchester, but any hole-in-the-wall's pho puts Betty's to shame. You're better off at the Asian place across the street.
