Looking for Quality Bonito in Boston

Where can I buy slabs of bonito? You know, the kind that you slice off with the carpenter's plane. I've got a bag of good quality flakes from Bread and Circus, but I'd really like a chunk for making superior dashi.

I haven't seen whole chunks of it. A better place than Bread and Circus (which (I would imagine is somewhat expensive) to get bags at is Kotobukiya in the Porter Exchange. Also, I've heard that there's a good Japanese market in Central Square. They may also have the whole bonito slabs, I dunno.
