Inexpensive American Sunday Brunch

I'm looking for an American-style Sunday brunch that won't cost the earth, for our last day in Boston (april 7th)before flying back to Blighty.

Thanks.

Doug

Where will you be staying? And do you want a real "brunch" or is a simple plate of eggs and home fries okay?

We're staying at the downtown Doubletree, and we want a 'real' brunch.

      Thanks.

I think your best bet would be to wander into the South End and get brunch there. You could try Aquitaine, Metropolis, Tremont 647 has the pajama brunch.

Appetito in the South End also has a nice brunch. It's Italian but has some traditional brunch items. If you want real cheap and very old-fashioned-American, check out Amrhein's on West Broadway in South Boston. It's a neighborhood/nothin' fancy type place and is a $5 cab ride from your hotel.

Thanks. Appetito sounds interesting, we might try it. Or another of the South End ones.
