Visiting relatives in Somerville over Christmas we passed this place near Tufts on I think Holland St. Seemed to be Balkan/Mediterranean. They could not be persuaded to try it without any feedback. Is anyone familiar with it so I can try it on my next visit? Thanks.

Thanks. It seemed pretty crowded when I passed it-maybe a holiday party. I'm not concerned about vegetarian.

But I am, so thanks for the tip.

    2. is most definitely NOT vegetarian, although you could eat well there without having meat - the bosnian sausages with raw red onion and yogurt sauce were wonderful, and the olive oil was some of the best I have tasted in a long time.

Thanks for the info. I thought the Bosnian/Balkan influence on the menu made it look interesting. You can't find this type of food were I live in CT. I expect to be back in Somerville in a few weeks and will definitely try to get there.

Europa, a new restaurant with a very quirky atmosphere on Franklin Street in Hartford, serve exquisite Bosnian food at rock-bottom prices. I love the sausages, the gourgeous fresh bread, and the goulash, which the owner rightly calls "the best".

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, I'm not that close to Hartford either.
