A request for Cape Cod hounds

I spent a couple summers ago working in Woods Hole, where I fell in LOVE with the Windfall in Falmouth. Compared to most grocery stores down here in southern Mississippi, I might as well have been in China.

My main sustenance up there included the wonderful breads, fresh produce, and the fried pita chips, which I haven't been able to find anywhere else. They're light, slightly salty, and eat-the-whole bag good, with or without hummus. Does anybody know the brand or distributor for these amazing chips? I'd love to be able to order them somewhere and have them shipped down South.

I'd be eternally grateful for any leads....

Blue skies,
Catherine

I don't know if they're the same brand you had, but Homsey's, a spice and gourmet store in Westwood,Ma makes their own, in huge bags, from a local pita bread.

Here is there phone number. Why don't you call them and ask?

Windfall Market 366 Menauhant Rd., Falmouth, 548-0099. Falmouth's answer to Bread & Circus. Upscale foods, upscale prices. Nice produce and meats. A great place for that ingredient you can't find at Stop & Shop. Their fresh-baked bread is excellent.
