A little south of Lexington, but Barry's Deli, in Waban (Newton) is awesome. Just off Beacon St, 5 min. from 128.

You might want to check out Russ and Daughters. They have everything, and they ship.

I heartily endorse this option. R&D's New York Brunch package is tremendous. It is expensive - $95 for enough to serve 8-10 people, and that's before overnight shipping - but they have absolutely the finest smoked fish I've ever eaten. In addition, they are a delight to do business with. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to customize packages according to your specifications. I'm sending a brunch to my brother for his 40th birthday, and am completely bummed that I won't be there to enjoy it!
