Fried Chicken in Boston

I have a craving for Southern Fried Chicken..was thinking of Bob the Chefs..anyone been lately? other suggestions? Thanks

  1. Bob's would be my first choice, but there is Fontaine's Topsey's on Rt. 1 on the Dedham - West Rosbury line.

    1. I've got a reservation at Bob's for Sunday's benefit supper that's going on around town. I've been craving it too. It's $15 for mesclun salad, meat loaf or fried chicken plus two sides and peach cobbler or sweet potato pie. Should be good. Check out that web site listed a couple weeks ago, maybe they still have room. (The other menus sound good too.)

          Just got back from lunch at Bob the Chefs..great fried chicken, mac and cheese, and collared greens..ok ribs.
